Opus Nigrum - "Journey in the Dark"
Opus Nigrum, offers a magical experience, with sound that is
characterized by impressive compositions, enigmatic melodies,
atmospheric, dark, with choral and orchestral arrangements that
turn into impressive works of art. Ritual music, neoclassical,
epic passages with a strong hermetic alchemical symbolism. Based
on three stages in the alchemical process by which the soul
passes through many incarnations in its evolution to achieve
a state of perfection; the three stages of the alchemical process
philosophy:
Nigredo, Albedo and Rubedo. Opus Nigrum is the dissolution and
calcining phase of the form, which is the hardest part of the
Great Work, it is the "dark" of the human psyche,
emotions, intuitions, perceptions and thoughts buried in the
denial of mind, being an introspective journey, an internal
search that will go though a gloomy passages, such as war, desire,
envy ..., culminating in the Red Work, in the Philosopher's
Stone, in The Gold. Cinematographic opus, where battles, temples,
warriors are looming, where sacrifices are offer to honor of
the ancient gods.
With a beautiful design by Hablagarmin
(Der Reiter Blauter, Narsilion, Dioxide...) in Digipack

Gradual Hate & Silence in First Degree
- "Panopticon"
Dark environments, subliminal sound structures, oppression
...all wrapped in a meaningful video, which makes us discern
what really lies.Work Dark made Experimental Ambient altogether
with the experimental group Argentine Silence in First Degree, based
on the work of Jeremy Bentham and M.Foucault (Discipline and
Punish). The panopticon develops out of the need for surveillance
shown in the plague. Plague measures were needed to protect
society: the panopticon allows power to operate efficiently.
It is a functional, permanent structure. The transition from
one to another represents the move to a society in which discipline
is based on observation and examination. The disciplinary society
is not necessarily one with a panopticon in every street: it
is one where the state controls such methods of coercion and
operates them throughout society. The development of a disciplinary
society involves socio-economic factors, particularly population
increase and economic development.

Gradual Hate - "Asphyxiated World"
Pure Electro Dark ¡¡...a conceptual work, photographies
of shelters, people protecting themselves of the death with
anti-gas masks, it’s part of the metaphor of which a deshumanizated
man could be, being able to create a situation in which, you
even can’t breathe freely, in which you depend on synthetic
and unnatural agents to survive, or the metaphor of alienation
of our life, surrounded by objects who cause certain passing
happiness to us, but in the end, they enslave us and asphyxiate
us (mortgages, car, vacations...), trash of the modern world
for the consumist lamb...is pure aggression, vocals distorted
to a rasp, while "Heaven or Hell" is almost goth,
its moody verses adorned with little more than cavernous reverb.
"Elektro Radio-Sex-Station" lies somewhere in between,
with gravelly, lightly distorted drawls and darkly sexual themes
very much in the vein of Leæther Strip's early work...

Gradual Hate - "Spoken Word"
Dark atmospheres, spread rhythms that they become on the other
hand in dancing and other more slowed, they are fundamentally
the new bet that “Spoken Word” it presents us in
their musical section. That yes, always under the common denominator
that surrounds the music created by Miguel LS: their complexity,
darkness and enigmatic attraction.
Strangers trips CyberPunks narrated by Avantgarde artist Kenji
Siratori: a Japanese cyberpunk writer who is currently bombarding
the internet with wave upon wave of highly experimental, uncompromising,
progressive, intense prose. His is a writing style that not
only breaks with tradition, it severs all cords, and can only
really be compared to the kind of experimental writing techniques
employed by the Surrealists, William Burroughs and Antonin Artaud.
Embracing the image mayhem of the digital age, his relentless
prose is nonsensical and extreme, avant-garde and confused,
with precedence given to twisted imagery, pace and experimentation
over linear narrative and character development. With unparalleled
stylistic terrorism, he unleashes his literary attack. An unprovoked
assault on the senses. Blood Electric (Creation Books) was acclaimed
by David Bowie.
