which, as the opening stanza suggests, attemps to project the
poet's own existencial situation on to group of beggars huddling
from the cold in a dark...pure realism magic:
Albergue oscuro con mendigos de noche
Abrazando girones de frío
Mientras por los grupos inertes, igual que flor de lluvia
Contemplan cómo pasa una sombra.
Dark Hostel with night-time beggars
Hunddling in sherds of cold.
While the lifeless groups, like a rin flower.
Watch how a shadow passes by.
Esos mendigos son los reyes sin corona
Que buscaron la dicha más allá de la vida
Que buscaron la flor Jamás abierta
Que buscaron deseos terminados en nubes...
These beggars are the uncrowned kings
Who pursued happiness beyond life,
Who pursued the never opened flowe.
Who pursued desires that ended up in clouds...
