Shibalba is a project whose main focus is set on expressing shamanic, trance-like music, by the use of ethnic instruments and musical technics peculiar to religious rituals. The new album «Nekrologie Sinistrae (Orchestral Noise Opus I)» for the first time introduces industrial elements to the band’s sound.
The new album was recorded, mixed and mastered by George Emmanuel (Lucifer’s Child/ex-Rotting Christ) at Pentagram Studio in Greece. Giacome Del Po’s painting «At The Gates Of Hell» graces the cover artwork.
Alongside traditional instruments (such as Tibetan horns & singing bowls, bone & horne trumpets, darbukas, ceremonial bells & gongs or percussion instruments made of bones and skulls) the band incorporates contemporary synthesizers and guitar drones. The music is richly detailed and multidimensional, while its outcome is deep, unsettling and subconscious, offering an otherworldly voyage.

Partly abandonning the lyrical component which was central in previous releases of his musical project «Day Before Us» Philippe Blache introduces here a slight new stylistic turn. This album makes incursions within the world of avant gardism, noise ambient and modern classical minimalism with a subtle cinematic edge. It can be appreciated as a purging ritual mainly built around harrowing reverb piano key, blackened skies of droney textures, then majestic organ patterns within a foreboding sonic spectrum. With the term E.B.A.N.I. are defined a whole series of aerial phenomena, which present characteristics that can be compared in appearance to living beings, in form as well as in movements. Is this perhaps the final adaptation, in the middle of the information age, of a living occult reality that hides behind our technological dream, before its definitive revelation?
«E.B.A.N.I. Drones» is the sound transposition of these celestial apparitions, beyond any will of interpretation of the phenomenon or easy cataloging. A dreamlike and surreal journey between sidereal anxieties and apocalyptic suggestions, in the contemplation of these new angelic legions made of luminous tubular structures and floating liquid metal.
SILICON RELIC is a new Italian industrial drones / dark-ambient project, which aims to describe and portray in music the remains and parodies of the sacred and the spirit in the age of disenchantment. Ab’bhau’s debut album was forged in fire in the year 2018 after mysterious live apparitions and rehearsal sessions. The aim behind this first exploration was void invocation, void materialization.
The project is formed by established musicians of the Spanish underground noise, experimental, and metal scene. Connections to bands and projects like Black Earth, Suspiral, Inhumankind, Phicus, Triple Zero, Gárgara, or Sudaria can be traced.
The ritualistic essence of this artistic incarnation is based upon the rupture of repetitive patterns through improvisation as a medium to convey abject forces into the shape of what the band has called ‘Black Metal Destruktion’, stemming Heideggerian terminology. A form that appears to disappear or to be registered, but impossible to reproduce.

Formed in 2005 as duo of Baron Von S and Ra Kha. Months later the project was joined by G.C. (Gabriel C) and later by Maya M. as well and became a 4-piece. With this lineup Barbarossa Umtrunk recorded «Scontrum Act V» (2005) split. Then, after the departure of Ra Kha in Autumn 2007, the band reborn from its ashes as a duo composed of G.C. and Baron Von S. Then in September 2009, G.C left the band keeping to make music under his solo project called «Effets Secondaires», and Barbarossa Umtrunk became a solo project of Baron Von S (also assisted by his bride Countesse Von S).
