    Shibalba ‎– Samsara

    Shibalba – Samsara
    Label: Malignant Records ‎– TumorCD91
    Format: CD, Album
    Country: US
    Released: 22 Dec 2015
    Style: Dark Ambient, Experimental

Active since 2009, Shibalba bring their first full ritual expression to the halls of Malignant. Samsara summons five chthonic explorations using all the hallmark instrumentation of the genre to great effect; liturgical chants and spectral vocal incantations, minor keyboard orchestrations, resonant chimes and prayer bowls, ceremonial percussion, and atmospheric drift ensconced in sepulchral reverb. It’s a tapestry of richly detailed and layered sounds that emanate from candlelit chambers and underground passages, and an intoxicating and majestic homage to the darkest of arts. Previous work must be noted and recognized, but it is with Samsara that Shibalba’s vision is fully realized. And while the shadow of Endvra, Funerary Call, and Halo Manash loom in the background, Shibalba have forged a new path and solidified themselves among the leaders of the new realm. We have entered the Halls of Inner Sadhana to re-unite Pilgrimage and Austerity, to gaze once more behind the Eyes of Samadhi, and to reach new starfields of alienation.

Z’EV ‎– Eleven Mirrors To The Light

    Label: Cold Spring ‎– CSR196CD
    Format: CD, Album
    Country: UK
    Released: 28 Dec 2015
    Style: Industrial, Drone

Z’EV completes an alchemical exploration of Concord and Dissonance that began with the cosmological equations of Sum Things and then clasped the elemental quintet of air, water, fire, earth and spirit in A Handful of Elements. Now, with Eleven Mirrors to the Light, Z’EV plays with the intersection of light and dark, catching waves of luminescence between prisms and mirrors that fragments particles into shimmering washes of sound. Z’EV’s trademark percussion transforms into glistening soundscapes and drones, one part subterranean and another subatomic.

    PYLAR

PYLAR is made up of several hyerophants, shamans, and druids. It is thought that there are members of the mighty Orthodox and the magnificent Blooming Látigo among them.
They mix song, dance and invocations in their perfomances, as if these were ceremonies whith the objective of awakening tellurian forces which have been lying dormant since the Ancient Times.

    In their own words:
“We worship the Godess of the beginning of time, we are purity and corruption, permanent and eternal becoming, and existence which is Kronos and Aevum one at the same time… We are the vehicle of the transformation of the great metal… Those who have been absent for a long time show themselves through us… We are the Aludel… We are the inner working of the Earth… We are the womb where electrum is icubated.”
