The Ways of Yore is the eleventh studio album by Norwegian musical project Burzum, released on 2 June 2014 by sole member Varg Vikernes’ label Byelobog Productions. The album retains the ambient and medieval music sound Vikernes started with Burzum’s previous album, S\u00f4l austan, M\u00e2ni vestan, albeit introducing vocals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The album cover features a detail of \u00abMerlin and Vivien\u00bb, an engraving by famous French artist Gustave Dor\u00e9 for Alfred, Lord Tennyson’s poem Idylls of the King, framed by a bordure of swastikas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ways of Yore (en ingl\u00e9s Las costumbres de anta\u00f1o) es el duod\u00e9cimo \u00e1lbum de estudio de la banda noruega de black metal Burzum, lanzado en 2014 por el sello Byelobog Productions, perteneciente al l\u00edder de la banda Varg Vikernes. El \u00e1lbum conserva el ambient y la m\u00fasica medieval que Vikernes comenz\u00f3 a usar con el disco previo de Burzum, S\u00f4l austan, M\u00e2ni vestan,1\u200b aunque en esta oportunidad incluy\u00f3 voces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
