They began to make music around the year 1996 with another musical project called \u201cLament\u201d publishing the following demos: Lament (1996), Grey Age (1996), Resting in a place like this (1998). \u201cLament\u201d moved between gothic rock and dark pop with different influences. Their musical maturity causes that in the year 2000 a change of musical registry was made. Silent Love of Death was born. So at the end of the year 2003 SLOD finished \u201cThe Poet..s Senses\u201d, their first album (Palace Of Worms, 2005). It..s a calling to the rebel spirit of the romantic writers of the centuries XVIII &amp; XIX. Blake, Baudelaire, Espronceda or B\u00e9cquer contribute with their artistic essence covered by the cold solemnity and the decay of the band. Some time ago SLOD colaborated in compilations of spanish bands \u201cMy Dear Freaks\u201d, \u201cMy Dear Freaks II\u201d (Caustic Records 2004,2008), a colletion of musical jewels of the spanish dark scene.
