This unknown chapter in the evolution of the classic Finnish ritual sound originates from sessions held in May 2005, when Arktau Eos was still unnamed, beginning work on their seminal opus \u2018Mirrorion\u2019 and Zo\u00e4t-Aon had just released the equally influential \u2018Star Autopsy\u2019 CD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The album retains the original title of the sessions: \u2018Ikuisuus n\u00e4kyy luiden l\u00e4pi\u2019, Finnish for \u2018Eternity Shines Through the Bones\u2019, and for purposes of this release the group is named simply ARKTAU AON. \u2018Ikuisuus n\u00e4kyy luiden l\u00e4pi\u2019 is enthusiastic, youthfully vigorous and decidedly ominous ritual music with a total running time of 31:53. Instead of songs, it is divided into different \u2018movements\u2019 or phases: it resembles a field recording of some obscure ceremony from a far-off corner of the world.
