While the previous album of the Belgium project was characterized by the divergency between neofolk and martial based influences, Jurgen and Miguel used the long period to strengthen their music on a more sophisticated and variable version of martial industrial that is conceptionally founded in Norsk sagas and sacrifial pagan rites. The title of the album therefore might also be translated as “the colour of blood on stone”.

    This is ambient music in a haunting and uncomfortable setting, also using some familiar throbbing power electronic elements at times, to keep the diverse mix alive and unnerve the listener even more. The mixture of minimalism and diverse elements creates a fluid piece that leaves a somber reflection, exquisite in its terror and eerie passages.’
