«Chilling Czech atmospheres. The lead track from Prague based classical/electronic collective Autopsia has darting discordant horror-soundtrack strings and free jazz drums grounded by big subs,
on the flip «Porcile» is more electronic slab of dark ambient for fans of Cloaks or Vex’d. Not for everyone, but very powerful.»

Desiderii Marginis ‎– Songs Over Ruins

Desiderii Marginis ‎– Songs Over Ruins
Label: Cyclic Law ‎– 89th Cycle
Format: CD, Album, Limited Edition, Reissue, Remastered
    Country: Germany
    Released: 27 Jan 2017
    Style: Dark Ambient, Industrial

‘Desiderii Marginis have created the soundtrack to the post-apocalyptic world. Taking the approach of Ordo Equilibrio and Raison D’etre, there is melody and tension created purely by minimalist structure, catastrophic tranquility and powerfully present percussive tempo.
This is ambient music in a haunting and uncomfortable setting, also using some familiar throbbing power electronic elements at times, to keep the diverse mix alive and unnerve the listener even more. The mixture of minimalism and diverse elements creates a fluid piece that leaves a somber reflection, exquisite in its terror and eerie passages.’
