ESPACIO VITAL es una prometedora banda española de Neofolk, fundada en Barcelona en 2022 como proyecto en solitario por Javier García (alias Scarsonist). La potente y enérgica guitarra acústica armoniza con el sonido melancólico y trágico de la armónica. Su hermoso sonido despliega su efecto a través de la sutil base de fragmentos y samples inquietantes. Los arreglos y las piezas están influenciados principalmente por la estética y la atmósfera sonora de bandas alemanas de neofolk como FORSETI y DARKWOOD, así como por artistas de la música industrial marcial de los 90. A pesar de los guiños a los clásicos alemanes, se abre una caja de resonancia única que revela las maravillosas canciones y el potencial de los catalanes. El sonido, a menudo familiar, se ve avivado por las letras originales en su lengua materna, creando un aura distintiva y abriendo camino hacia lo natural y lo emocional.
ESPACIO VITAL is a promising Spanish neofolk band, founded in Barcelona in 2022 as a solo project by Javier García (aka Scarsonist). The powerful and energetic acoustic guitar harmonizes with the melancholic and tragic sound of the harmonica. Their beautiful sound unfolds its effect through a subtle base of unsettling fragments and samples. The arrangements and pieces are mainly influenced by the aesthetics and sonic atmosphere of German neofolk bands like FORSETI and DARKWOOD, as well as by artists from 90s martial industrial music. Despite the nods to German classics, it opens a unique resonance box that reveals the wonderful songs and potential of the Catalans. The often familiar sound is enlivened by original lyrics in their mother tongue, creating a distinctive aura and paving the way toward the natural and emotional. A debut album is also expected soon.
