After the successful second album, PYLAR collective returns with a new release: La Gran Obra. This CD is limited to 250 copies (a number that touches upon the threshold of madness) and is inspired by Alchemy. In the same way as the alchemical process, La Gran Obra is divided into three parts: Nigredo, Albedo and Rubedo. Throughout this piece, the enigmatic heresiarchs manage to manipulate the lost language of colour and the complex esoteric symbolism of ancient science, dropping clues to the follower and allowing them to walk down the path of the ineffable. The second side, Speculum (ArboNargAl), is a perfect mirror image of the first. In a sense, an infinite loop has been created between the two sides with the purpose of bending time and entering a level of existence where our subconscious memories live.
PYLAR has once more presented us with a veil which we can choose to lift in search of the key to uncover the last of their holy mission.

PYLAR are back with PYEDRA, featuring four tracks dedicated to the stone as a cosmic symbol of megalithic cultures. Those civilisations used big stones (megaliths) to raise their temples, tombs and paths.
PYLAR evoke the power of stone through monolithic guitars and techtonic drums. The stone as a testament to the timelessness, laden with nuances and expressed in the form of strings and numinous winds increasing the intensity beyond logic and sanity. Chants speaking of menhirs, metheors and monoliths opening the gate to a time when space and death were one, symbolized by the power and strength of megaliths, where ancient gods shall dwell in eternal gravity and stillness.
The album was recorded at La Mina Studio by The Alchemist Master, under the telluric darkness of the first full moon after solstice when the sun is defeated on the sixteenth year of the third millennium of the common era. Produced by PYLAR and mastered at Kadifornia Mastering by Mario G. Alberni.

Negura Bunget is an award-winning Transilvanian black metal band that twists the genre sideways, presenting an atmospheric sound that incorporates both progressive underground metal and traditional Romanian music.
Negura Bunget’s new album, “ZI” (English for ‘Day’ or ‘Say’) is the second part of the group’s ambitious “Transilvanian Trilogy”, released on the heels of 2015’s celebrated album, “TAU” (English for ‘Your’ or ‘Thy’), a record accurately hailed as “earthshaking” as it focused on unique native, natural landscapes and the mystique, legends, lore and meanings behind them.
In creating its most luminescent recording to date, Negura Bunget has further immersed itself in the traditions and practices of local Transilvanian inhabitants, exploring their connection with nature, and the way this relationship has shaped spiritual horizons. Needles Into the Ground contains material by Khost which has been elementally transformed by Justin Broadrick of Godflesh. The original Khost material – taken from their second album Corrosive Shroud – is dense, multifaceted and purgatorial with no straightforward ‘stems’ based approach. Broadrick has extracted what he needed for his work whilst in pure Godflesh mode. As a result, the outcome is claustrophobic and frenetic, the experience akin to being in the proximity of a large, unstable machine on the verge of meltdown. In addition to these pieces, Khost has added a new track.
“If it was a painting it would be about a kilometer wide held up by old, thick metal supports and wires that creak in wind, in parts abstract, in parts quite hard to decipher, and the materials would be oil like and seeping, never quite drying out” (Khost).

A new ritual from this long running doom/drone/ambient collective, offering up modern manifestations of ancient energies, channelled into smouldering swathes of ceremonial hypnosis and explosive gouts of blood-red radiance. Extinction is an extended ceremonial rite conducted below ground at the Wisp House (R.I.P.). A song suite of psychedelic devotionals assembled from reverb drenched industrial drones, billowing clouds of metallic throb, and churning, rhythmic bombast. Fields of ghostly incantations suspended in the ether, draped over metallic murmurs and moaning melancholia. The low end rumble of monk-like chants beneath the soft tangle of keening lamentation. A slowly evolving sensory sacrament, tense and harrowing, punctuated by dense dramatic swells and aching, mournful mantras.

The new work Of Darkness continues its constant search process, this time making visible the negation of art through the combination of various forms of musical expression. Using this as a contrast between the magnificent Gospel according to Luke by Krzysztof Penderecki and the canonical forms of musical language, this new work explores the fundamental mystery of the death and resurrection of Jesus and subverts the aesthetic and expressive values of the tradition. Moreover, the alchemical crucible that is Of Darkness is also used this time to distill the essence of the Adventus Scorpiace Gnostics, the work of Tertullian against the siren calls of Gnosticism.

PYLAR is made up of several hyerophants, shamans, and druids. It is thought that there are members of the mighty Orthodox and the magnificent Blooming Látigo among them. They mix song, dance and invocations in their perfomances, as if these were ceremonies whith the objective of awakening tellurian forces which have been lying dormant since the Ancient Times.
In their own words: “We worship the Godess of the beginning of time, we are purity and corruption, permanent and eternal becoming, and existence which is Kronos and Aevum one at the same time… We are the vehicle of the transformation of the great metal… Those who have been absent for a long time show themselves through us… We are the Aludel… We are the inner working of the Earth… We are the womb where electrum is icubated.”
The live performances of the band, which carry out magickal-propiciatory rituals, provoked extreme reactions in the audience. The use of archetypical symbols from the neolithic and the esoteric alchemy, together with incessant repetition of sacred mantras, to reach the hidden notes in the music of the spheres, guaranteed and experience which takes place in a sacred time and place. That where Ouroboros reigns.
