Otherworldly female vocals from extraordinary performers have always been the trademark of world-famous choir ensemble The Mystery Of The Bulgarian Voices (formerly known as «Les Mystères Des Voix Bulgares»). After an almost 20-year hiatus due to the death of producer Marcel Cellier, the choir released its critically acclaimed comeback «BooCheeMish» in 2018 together with esteemed guest vocalist Lisa Gerrard (Dead Can Dance), combining magnificent vocals from various stylistic backgrounds and traditional Bulgarian instruments with modern elements like beatboxing. The ensemble and its host of guests embarked on a successful tour in 2018 and 2019, performing in renowned concert venues such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, The Netherlands or L’Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, Belgium.
Summer 2020 sees a continuation of the choir’s live activities in Europe, and the new 7-track EP «Shandai Ya / Stanka» presents the strongest songs from «BooCheeMish» in even more refined versions alongside two exclusive tracks – an impressive live rendition of Gerrard’s solo composition ‘Rite Of Passage’ from a concert in Warsaw, Poland and ‘Zaidi Sluntse’, a collaboration between the choir and beatbox world champion SkilleR, marrying vocal skills that could not be more contrastive to great effect.

The album was recorded in two parts, the first in England in 1990, and the second after a long time break in 1996-97, by Brendan Perry at DCD’s Quivvy Church studio in Ireland. The album was released on CD in 1999 on the US label Projekt and was dubbed by critics as «the album the Beatles might have made had the group signed with 4AD instead of Capitol» and «a wonderful collection of songs that, while in the 4AD school, shimmers with an inner lightness that makes it very different «.

Trobar de Morte es una formación de culto originaria de Catalunya, es considerada en la actualidad una de las más prestigiosas a nivel nacional e internacional en su género, con conciertos y giras continuadas por países como Alemania, Holanda, Portugal, Rumanía… con una solida tradición en este tipo de música.
Trobar de Morte realiza un neo folk medieval, creando una atmósfera donde se fusionan dulces melodías medievales de raíces étnicas europeas con ritmos tradicionales del corazón de anatolia, Egipto, oriente medio e India, todo ello con un fuerte sentimiento épico, espiritual y poético. Déjate seducir por su directo acústico que te transportará hacia mundos ancestrales, llenos de magia y mística, que de bien seguro no te dejarán indiferente.
Cada concierto es en si una nueva experiencia, sin premeditar el resultado final el universo de TDM, solo se deja guiar por el deseo de conseguir a través de su música un puente de unión entre culturas, sensibilizar y humanizar este mundo global cada vez más falto de valores.
La banda está formada por músicos con una amplia formación y experiencia musical de diversas procedencias musicales, música oriental, música celta, folk medieval, música gótica, música clásica contemporánea.. creando así un sugestivo y maravilloso ensamble musical.
Los instrumentos de TDM hablan por si solos de su ancestral herencia musical, las dulces melodías de zanfonas, gaitas, flautas, guitarras melódicas, violines, teclados y bajos, se mezclan con la mística percusión étnica de dohollas, darboukas, tablas, panderos y tambores, creando así un rico universo sonoro…
Trobar de Morte was born in 1999. It’s the most ambitious project of the multifaceted Lady Morte, singer and songwriter. Having played at several festivals, concerts and tours – including one big tour with Faun in 2011 – and visiting countries such as Germany, Holland, Portugal, Romania, France, UK or Italy. The band toured through Europe as coheadliner with The Moon And The NightSpirit to celebrate its 18th anniversary in 2017. Two tribal dancers have accompanied them in several concerts throughout the years, adding a strong visual impact to many of the songs.
The band live show includes performances, dances and ritualistic elements which enhance the audience’s experience.
Doom of Valyria es un proyecto formado en el año 2010.
Eva, la fundadora de DOV siempre ha estado involucrada en grupos de música orientadas al metal extremo, actualmente toca la guitarra en “Unburial” un grupo de blackened death metal enfocado en el antiguo imperio romano y en “Toxic Army”, un grupo de metal con tintes industriales.
Todo comienza cuando lee la saga de libros “Canción de Hielo y Fuego” y decide ponerles música.
Era todo un reto ya que quería que sonara medieval, folk y antiguo, por lo que tuvo que salir por completo del mundo eléctrico para adentrarse en los sonidos más antiguos y remotos.
Tras un periodo de experimentacioón y composición, en el 2012 saca su primer disco llamado The Wolf’s Wood que tiene una gran aceptación por parte del público.
Más adelante, en el año 2017 saca su segundo disco”Warg” en coproducción con el prestigioso sello “GH Records” y tambien lanza su primer videoclip “Sons of the North”.
Por primera vez va a actuara en directo en “La Noche de los Candiles”, un encantador evento que reúne la magia de la música y las antorchas.
El Ultimo Sol es un encuentro entre mundos.
Un cruce de caminos entre realidades, vibraciones y sonidos, donde lo antiguo, el pasado y el presente, se unen formando un espacio sin tiempo. El tiempo se diluye creando un círculo sagrado. Para nosotros es un vínculo íntimo y personal, una relación con lo salvaje, con lo mistérico de este mundo aparentemente corriente, y de otros mundos ocultos a la vista, y que convergen en un mismo punto, en un mismo instante. Un oasis en medio de una vida que empuja a correr, a no tener tiempo para sentir. Un lugar donde todo se detiene para reconectar con lo esencial, con lo primitivo e instintivo, volviendo al origen.
En este proyecto están involucrados Gemma A. y Daniel P.. Daniel P. es miembro fundador de Arnica, Wihinei Rita, Ghazghkull y colaborador tanto en estudio como en directo con bandas como Death In June, Allerseelen, Blood Axis, Traum´er Leben, entre otros.
Túa es un grupo español de música celta folk fundado en Murcia en el año 2008 y que posee un amplio repertorio de música tradicional y composiciones propias con temas de raíz gallega, asturiana, irlandesa escocesa, y bretona. Sus influencias son muy variadas, desde Luar na Lubre, Milladoiro, Carlos Núñez y Berrogüetto hasta The Dubliners, The Chieftains, Solas, y Alan Stivell.
El grupo inició su andadura musical como grupo de taberna dándose a conocer entre el público con temas populares y tradicionales amenizando las noches en bares y locales de distintos puntos de Murcia como ‘’La Puerta Falsa’’, ‘’Fitzpatrick’s Irish pub’’ o ‘’The Corner’’.
Graban su primer disco en el año 2014 bajo el título de ‘’Coordenadas Norte-Sur’’ en el que recogen el repertorio de esta primera etapa y se enfocan profesionalmente dentro del panorama folk, dando el salto en 2015 de las salas a los festivales. Entre los últimos, han participado en: ‘’Murcia Tres Culturas’’, ‘’Barranda Folk’’ (Caravaca de la Cruz), ‘’Catarsis’’ (Huéscar, Granada), ‘’Intercéltico de Sendim’’ (Portugal) y ‘’LupeFolk’’ (Murcia). Han tenido también diversas actuaciones en otras provincias como, Madrid, Salamanca, Almería, Alicante, A Coruña y Ourense. En el año 2019 fueron finalistas del concurso “Runas”, organizado por el prestigioso festival del Mundo Celta de Ortigueira (A Coruña).
Crystalmoors nació en 1995 y desde entonces, la banda se ha convertido en uno de los principales referentes del Pagan Metal en España, tocando junto a bandas nacionales e internacionales de primer nivel a lo largo de los años. Sus letras se basan en su herencia cántabra y la historia de la región, sus raíces y tradiciones celtas, y el orgullo que sienten por su tierra, siempre presente en su música. En 2016 lanzaron su quinto álbum, que incluye un segundo CD acústico llamado «La Montaña», donde la banda explora su lado folk por primera vez. Algunas de las canciones de este álbum aparecen en el videojuego «Mount And Blade» y en la serie de televisión History Channel «Templarios». Han actuado en varios festivales folclóricos de toda España, ofreciendo un espectáculo en directo intenso y único. El uso de instrumentos tradicionales y voces limpias que recuerdan su herencia celta, mezclado con una percusión intensa y la voz gruñona de Lavín, te evocará y transportará a las batallas entre cántabros contra Roma, el culto a la naturaleza y la búsqueda continua de los orígenes de Cantabria.

In order to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the band, TENHI treat their fans to an all-inclusive, three-CD compilation. This is not to be seen as a regular album, but rather as a collection of rare tracks for die-hard fans. “Folk Aesthetics 1996–2006” is completed by a spectacular booklet of 76 pages, containing not only liner notes, the entire lyrics and their translations, but also fascinating drawings and paintings courtesy of band member Tyko Saarikko.

This-worldly sorrow and other-worldly joy
The long gestation period of “Saivo” (four years) shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who knows and treasures Tenhi’s modus operandi. The Finnish musicians follow their vision mercilessly down to the smallest minutiae, which means that all of the songs have seen various arrangements and the adding of new elements until all the details of the album fit into the overall picture. On “Saivo”, Tenhi use a largely consistent instrumentation to inform the tracks with cohesion and unison. Guitar and piano are the predominant instruments; at times, they are supplemented by percussion, strings, and polyphonic vocals, all in order to create a melancholic realm of sound characterised by this-worldly sorrow and other-worldly joy. The result is an album that is introverted in the truest sense of the word: just as it is believed that Saivo, the realm of the dead, may only be reached by an access under ambiguous lakes and that the journey leads to a mirror image of this world, Tenhi’s “Saivo” also looks to the inner realms.

Formed in 1999 as the solo project of Simone H. Salvatori, Spiritual Front dubs its sound “catchy ballads for heartbreaker nihilist youth”; its Morricone-inspired neofolk channels art rock, tango, new wave and country influences through a modern lens. Spiritual Front’s unique musical identity is a reflection of Salvatori’s savoir-faire which sees the frontman as a sort of Machiavellian playboy, merging Las Vegas-esque pomp and stomp with a surly suggestiveness, lending the band’s sound a hedonistic flair. The lyrical themes shared by Salvatori deal with issues such as searching for self-identity, sexuality, harsh realities and angry break-ups, each tinted with sarcasm, nihilism and biting humor.
