    CD 1 features the original 9 tracks of PROPHETIA digitally mastered + 3 new songs (The garden of Cyrus, Dusky Daphne, Requiem) as bonus tracks.

    CD2 features a 1989 bootleg (live recording) with 6 exclusive songs (Teuflische Mosaikarbeit, Memphitis, Confiteor, Ono No Komachi, Die Suhne, Que no te sienta venir) released on CD exactly as they were.

    The very first tape PROPHETIA (1990) released on CD by Infinite Fog Productions. To celebrate this album, in 2017 Ataraxia have recorded three exclusive tracks (written in 1989/1992) never released before. These old but new tracks keep the spirit of the 90ies with a nowadays feeling. Nicolas Ramain took care of the layout and design. Thanks Nick for the album cover as well!     ARAZZI is the third and last ATARAXIA’s demotape recorded and self-produced in 1992 and released in 1993 by Energeia. The band has chosen not to change the original sound keeping the early 90ies rough and instinctive spirit. They have included to this re-issue a bonus track, “L’ultimo Arazzo”, that had to be part of the original 1993 release but, being not satisfied with the original version, they re-recorded it right now with the participation of Riccardo Spaggiari on drums. “Sometimes, slowly walking through the rooms of an old palace, on a wide wall we notice a tapestry. Lazy eyes, as absent, pass by; curious eyes, as captured by enchantment, bewitched, penetrate into it, irresistibly attracted by the restless presence of hedges, fountains and animals that come into life opening the dances in which we take part, as anomalous comedians or sylvan interpreters of a bizarre picture”.

    Long out-of-print, The Fossil Dungeon and Argentina’s Twilight Records have teamed-up to re-issue “Quintessence,” the fifth full-length album from THE SOILS BLEEDS BLACK lengthy discography of esoteric, folk-driven, traditionally inspired medieval music.

    “Quintessence” consists of five neo-medieval folk songs, each based on the alchemical elements of earthe, air, fyre, water, and quintessence. This fifth album of theirs showcases the longest songs ever recorded by the band and accomplishes a sound unlike any of their previous musical efforts, while still maintaining their standard of medieval atmosphere. Considered their «neo-folk» album, this release is filled with rich lyrical intricacies and lush acoustic instrumentations. Two additional bonus tracks are included on this album.
