    Mørk Skog has started in the early months of 2006, initially as a minimalistic dark ambient project, influenced by ambient instrumentals and intros of early black metal. After two demos, the project was suspended, in order to focus more on metal music. Mørk Skog reignited in 2008, this time more into the post-industrial and experimental underground, touching nearly all genres of them in the coming five years (including dark ambient, noise, neoclassical, electro-industrial and even martial for one song in 2010) and releasing many demos, EPs and albums. After releasing a tribute album to H. P. Lovecraft and ENDVRA titled Dreams of Black Mountains, the project was closed down forever in 2013 in order to focus more on Kraschau (containing dark ambient parts in it’s last album, Une Foi d’Acier).

    Italian music collective’s fourth album

    Ever since its foundation in 1994, Italian collective Camerata Mediolanense merges Wave and Post Punk with the musical spirit of the Renaissance and Baroque periods, not shying away from experimentation. Although they have been received mainly within the neoclassical and neofolk spheres, professional composer and musicologist Elena Previdi and her entourage cover a wide area, ranging from traditional songs across archaic rhythmic parts to electronic elements, all of which make it hard to categorize the three studio albums, multiple singles, and EPs Camerata Mediolanense has issued so far.

    After five years in the making, Camerata Mediolanense’s fourth album “Vertute, Honor, Bellezza” (English: “Virtue, Honour, Beauty”) is finished now. With the new album the band continues to proceed on its path, mixing archaic, traditional and tribalistic music with experimental and electronic sounds.
    The album is the centrepiece of Camerata Mediolanense’s “Petrarca project,” which is conceptually based on the poetry of 14th century scholar, poet, and humanist Francesco Petrarca, one of the fathers of Italian language and literature. The project was initiated by the CD single “99 Altri Perfecti” (2011) and is closed by the CD single “Vergine Bella,” which are both included in the art-book edition of “Vertute, Honor, Bellezza.”

    Gifted with a musical sensibility that remains unparalleled, ASHRAM have conquered a discreet yet faithful fanbase around their delicate music and memorable live performances.
    The Neo-Classical style that acts as a foundation to ASHRAM’s music is usually built upon the moods of pianist Luigi Rubino, who sets a black and white cinematographic mannerism to the songs, hereby uplifted by violinist Edo Notarloberti’s arrangements, a performer well-known from various previous collaborations with other Napolitan projects, and whose soaring violin phrases confer a moving brilliance and distinct character to the project. Sergio Panarella, the group’s singer endowed with a beautiful crooning voice, adds the lighter tones to ASHRAM’s creations, by contributing also with a couple of acoustic guitar-based mellower Folk ballads now and again.
    Four years after their homonymous debut, the Italian ensemble finally completes their second album, “Shining Silver Skies”, a work which unfolds itself as an exercise in musical bliss and purity, drenched in sweet nostalgia that flickers through memories of aching loss or rapturous passion. The trio is also assisted by guest cellist Leonardo Massa on these recordings, whose contribution brings a discreet additional depth to “Shining Silver Skies”, an album which not only embodies the romantic backdrop of early 1900’s glamour but that also flirts with a slightly naïve Folk spirit occasionally.

    Pieter Nooten (born 22 January 1961 in Oss) is a Dutch musician and composer best known for his work with Clan of Xymox.

    Pieter makes music in a more ambient stile, but with a personal touch, sometimes indie, sometimes dark wave, sometimes in his own and personal visions. With a mix of vocal tracks and instrumentals, Pieter Nooten is a most original and unique artist to emerge in. Lush synth and string atmospherics flow through the entire album, his vocals have a sad,hushed element about them creating a even more emotionally forceful atmosphere.

    Silent Love Of Death desentierra el cadaver exquisito del surrealismo para diseccionar sus negras entrañas, en un viaje acompañado de melodías con ecos de apocalipsis, diálogos espectrales con la parte más oscura de nuestro inconsciente y cantos al amor sumergido en los abismos de la locura.

    Las composiciones que conforman este espléndido trabajo trascienden y aúnan géneros bien conocidos como Neoclassical, Dark Ambient o Spoken Word, siendo todos y ninguno a la vez, internándose en espacios abstractos pero tremendamente evocadores, innovando para conformar un estilo con un sello muy personal.

    Los textos han sido inspirados por el que fue un maestro por aquellas lides, el poeta sevillano Luis Cernuda, cuya obra fue marcada por los estigmas del deseo y su lucha contra la realidad e impregnada del amor en su vertiente más lóbrega y desoladora.
