Keltika Hispanna 

Keltika Hispanna is a Dark Folk band, was born in the ancient Mountains of Guadarrama (Madrid/ESPAÑA).

In his compositions, harmonies and old rhythms from Rural Iberian folk music are mixed with melodies and lyrics inspired by nature, ancient history and the magical-religious beliefs of the Iberian people. Focusing on the use of traditional instruments and singing their lyrics in the Castilian language and some of his songs in the ancient runic language of their Celtiberian ancestors.

Recorded by KELTIKA HISPANNA in the Madrid’s mountains environment. Edited by SOLIFERRO Grabaciones Iberas. Eleven new songs and two great collaborations: Cecilia (Caelia) in “Bajo la Encina” and Gustavo (Hiedra) in “Cabalgando con Bravura”. The artwork has been developed using and recovering old magic-religious symbols from Castilian traditional embroideries.

This album tries to be a trip for one, who has twinned his feet with the old glens, with the icy mountains and desolated moors that embody our land, a being who is able to breathe the pure air that carries the echoes of past times…

Este álbum intenta ser un viaje para aquel, que ha hermanado sus pies con las viejas cañadas, con las gélidas montañas y con los páramos desolados que encarnan esta tierra nuestra, un ser que es capaz de inhalar el aire puro que arrastra los ecos de tiempos pasados.
