    “The whole history of mankind is a prolonged history of a living matter that, by the Creator’s will, acquired an ability to think, but that did not know what to do with this fatal ability. It could not find any better use for this ability than invention of the most effective ways of global suicide”.

    The apocalypse created by the mankind’s own hands is the main idea of the debut album “Fate” (“Участь”) of a side project POTERNA by Shilov, the leader of martial/neofolk duet ORDER OF VICTORY. Sounds recorded in steel and forge plants of different industrial enterprises, as well as samples from movies, were used for recording of this album.

    Streicher is one of the Industrial underground legends. Starting in Australia in the mid 80s with early projects such as Psy.Phalanx and Nife Junger, Ulex Xane began his Power Electronics/nOise project Streicher with a series of tape releases on his own label Zero Cabal. Originally inspired by his contact with Come Organisation (William Bennett of Whitehouse) and Broken Flag (Gary Mundy of Ramleh), Xane developed Streicher into his own unique style of Power Electronics, which came to be known as ‘Oi Noise’, extreme noise released mostly on cassette and distributed through the tape networks up to the early 90s which are now sought after collectors items. Streicher utilises a mix of total power noise with covert military recordings. A monument to futility, Streicher’s “Annihilism” recording is a stark comment on the current war without end. Recorded at Anal Ripper Studio in 1989-1991 and originally released by Zero Cabal in 1995. Old Captain’s 2015 special 20th Anniversary re-issue edition of 200 copies in 4 panel Digipak.

    This was initially self released in September 1980 as a private cassette tape by Maurizio Bianchi, which has seen the emergence of several unauthorized bootleg editions of tape and vinyl formats. However, they were wrongly classified as this original NH/HN release when they were in actual fact, the “Nervo/Hydra” tape that was released slightly after in 1981. After 35 years, this original NH/HN release has once again seen the light of day and is presented in its true form of abstract sound collages comprising synthesizers, tape loops and noise samples, all being completely remastered and reworked by Siegmar Fricke from Pharmakustik.

    This full length LP release completes the collaborative process between 2 highly esteemed noise projects: Serbian Harsh Noise act Creation Through Destruction (Dead Body Collection) and England’s notorious and anonymous noise terrorists Nihilist Assault Group (The New Blockaders). Much effort was involved in the production of this release as the original sound frequencies were deemed impossible to be cut on vinyl. After many roadblocks, the audio content (for vinyl) was finally realised, all painstakingly managed through effective mastering and readjustments of the erratic fluctuations of extremely high frequencies. There is very minimal compromise to the original sound source and the entire full length tracks on both sides are delivered in its true ear screeching and brain busting layers of sonic brilliance.     HAL HUTCHINSON Hal Hutchinson has previously released several of his scrap metal sound recordings on labels such as ‘Freak Animal Records, Unrest Productions and many others.In the last couple of years,he has moved to incorporate analogue synthesizers, field recordings and other elements into his work, collaborating with projects such as Mania and Shift amongst others. The recordings on this vinyl were originally released on Hal’s Der Bünker label in 2010 on a limited edition cassette.
