    In 1999 “Apocalyptic Climax” was the result of mutual collaboration of the leading martial industrial-ambient formations Der Blutharsch & Deutsch Nepal.

    The state of despair and hopelessness is the main leitmotif of this music.
    Death floating in the uncertainty, death as the basic obsession standing behind all your thoughts and feelings-the monotonous and cold language and fixed scenes.
    Albin Sunlight Julius & Lina Baby Doll stand here for the chroniclers of Europe , its dramatic historical way which gave rise to the bloody outbreaks & mystical spiritual revelations-war as the phenomenon of the human nature which is constantly testing itself for strength.

    The album, which was released as a limited 10″ vinyl in 1999, is finaly available in digital / CD format .

    Complete anthology of Zos Kia recordings. The first press released as limited to 800 copies Digibook.

    ZOS KIA was formed by John Gosling (MEKON), John Balance (COIL) and Min – with guest Peter ‘Sleazy’ Christopherson (THROBBING GRISTLE). Their one and only long-play album, Transparent, was released August 23rd 1983 in a cassette the only edition on the now-defunct Nekrophile label, Austria. They were the first released recordings of both COIL and ZOS KIA. It was reissued years later by COIL (Threshold House / Eskaton) in an edited edition. Later, 2017, the entire recordings were reissued on CD/vinyl via COLD SPRING RECORDS.
    Definitely, “Transparent” one of the most legendary and important industrial releases of all times. But beside of “Transparent”, ZOS KIA released 2 EP vinyl and record several tracks for compilation as well as about an hour of unreleased material which was found in John Gosling archives.

    Now the final and complete anthology of ZOS KIA recordings released under title “23” on 2CDs in Luxor Digibook via INFINITE FOG PRODUCTIONS. 23 tracks, more than 2 hours of exciting material in various styles, was сarefully extracted and prepared for publishing by John Gosling himself, and artwork was done by Cold Graves. Well-known track in different forms, unknown, rare and unreleased composition, and many more for the deep diving into the esoteric underground music from 80th.

    “23” is the long-awaited release for those who deeply in the old-school industrial music, collectors, rare-searchers and especially great gift for all COIL lovers.

    Réminiscences is a selection of 8 standards of the band revisited in a more punchy and electro style compared to the original versions but preserving what made the specificity of the Opera Multi Steel sound. Indeed, on boosted rhythms and fully re-recorded vocals, those new versions use sounds and “historical” instruments cherished by the band since its beginnings: TR 808, TR 606, TB 303, Elex, Casio VL-1, recorders, medieval choirs and various samples. The texts have been preserved in their entirety. The tracks are taken from albums such as Cathedral (Un Froid seul, Du Son des Cloches…) A Contresens (Les Sens, Las), Les Douleurs de l’Ennui, La Légende dorée (Fureur en Asie) and even from the very first vinyl EP of the band (Massabielle).
    The artworks of the disc and sleeve, as well as the video clip coming together, have been realized by Alan Cassiano, who based his graphic work on visual atmospheres inherited from the very first vinyl EP of the band, using images taken from the Encyclopedia (XVIIIth century) and Perspectives by Jan Vredeman de Vries (XVIth century).

    Finally, Reminiscences is not a simple compilation of tracks, but rather a kind of travel through the different ages of Opéra Multi Steel’s music rearranging/revisiting classic songs and images through nowadays eyes and ears.
