After a strictly limited debut album on Sonderuebertragung Sunday Strain is back with new energy and ideas. Formed in 2005 as a side project of Llovespell it is now a full-grown band still experimenting but this time also using bass and drums instruments accompanied by clear and strong vocals of Dorain W. “Destiny.Done” brings over 45 minutes of sophisticated electronic music with admixture of pop elements and dark atmosphere. Mastered by Andreas Wahnmann (First Law) comes in an elegant 6 panel digipack designed by Hans Johm (Antlers Mulm).

Considered to be one of the founding forefathers of the Gothic Movement ROZZ WILLIAMS had in fact made a wide variety of stylistic musical moves throughout his impressive career until he died in 1998. Emerging from the wreckage of CHRISTIAN DEATH, he went on to form industrial pioneers PREMATURE EJACULATION and the more conventionally gothic SHADOW PROJECT. GITANE DEMONE joined Christian Death with Rozz Williams from 1983-1989 and went from that time her own way with different solo projects. DREAM HOME HEARTACHE is by far the most impressive work by Gitane Demone and Rozz Williams. Feeling that their past work – particularly with Christian Death – has bound them in gothic straight-jacket, GITANE and ROZZ felt the need to expand that time. The result was “Dream Home Heartache”, a breathtaking album with melancholy ballads, piano and a very smooth & jazzy atmosphere. Produced by Ken Thomas.

Necessary Illusions is the first album of the Argentinian band RAVEN WINGS. This young duo takes us on a journey that tells themes as love, life, death and distress. There are accompanied by a Gothic atmosphere delicately combined with elements of Baroque music, and being shaped by the participation of a string trio and electronic sounds that give this particularity in style. The album has the structure of a book; each song is a separate section that guides the listener into the musical narrative. So then, the musical and literary plot is finished.

Bleib Modern, once a solo project founded by Philipp, now became a band consisting of 5 members. Everything changed in the last months. There is almost nothing left of the Depeche Mode sound. From electric instruments to guitars, bass guitars and smooth drum beats. The vocals are psychedelic, sad, but beautiful. Philipps lyrics are very well written, it’s all about •no love‘, depression and hate. On their new and also first album, we will enjoy 10 songs that will take you on a trip into an awesome atmosphere. I can say, that this band knows how to use reverb and delay effects!
We can look forward a great future of this new coldwave / postpunk band, and maybe we will be surprised by more and more changes, too. On the CD, there will be 8 bonus tracks, for example the LOWS EP, Philipp released in August 2014.

DELEYAMAN translate a sense of timeless spirituality into a contemporary and universal language. Hardly classifiable into a single genre, “Fourth, Part One” combines Darkwave with ethnic and ethereal elements.
Following the release of the album “3”, in 2006, over 25 titles were written and composed by DELEYAMAN. 11 of these compositions, entirely recorded, mixed and mastered in the band’s studio in Normandy, France, were presented as “Fourth, Part One”. The remaining material is set to appear later as “Fourth, Part Two”, a complimentary yet contrasting sister-release which followed in early 2011.
The overall mood of this album is different from their prior releases, yet the sincerity with which they continue to explore their art is a constant in DELEYAMAN’s work. Inspiration for the lyrics comes partially from the works of American poets E.A. Robinson, A. Hecht, R.W. Emerson, E.A. Poe, H. Crane and T. Stickney, but also from the Lebanese mystic poet Khalil Gibran. Most of the titles are sung in English, except for two tracks sung in Armenian and the track “Jardin”, sung in French, the words taken from the poem “Nous n’irons plus au bois”, by T. de Banville. The use of several languages by Beatrice Valantin and Aret Madilian, the two vocalists, has always been a distinct characteristic of the band, whose members all come from different backgrounds.
DELEYAMAN’s style, which to this day remains difficult to classify into a single genre, is further defined by the inclusion of the duduk, an Armenian wind instrument. More than simply adding an ethnic reference to their compositions, the duduk grants them a unique tone, emphasizing the ethereal and exotic qualities that allow the album to reach beyond the darker specter of alternative music from which the band originally derived. Through their art, DELEYAMAN translate a sense of timeless spirituality into a contemporary and universal language, carrying the listener into a mesmerizing world which still sounds comfortably familiar and close at heart. “Fourth, Part One” is presented in Digipak format, accompanied by a 32-page booklet.

of diverse soundscapes that could serve as scenery for an ecstatic duel between
the Muse and the inexorable scythe of Saturn.
Turnavel
is a project born in 2003, after its existence in some latent mental form while
his founder played in bands with different styles during the previous years. It
develops a wide range of mainly neoclassical soundscapes which sometimes draw
inspiration from other media, such as films, painting or literature, usually
related to oneiric or symbolic subjects and addressed to the imagination of the
listener.

Formed in 1997 by vocalist Michael Aliani (aka Carrodus) after he left Ikon. The original lineup included legendary Ikon bass player Dino Molinaro and members of Russian Rock band B2, Shura Bi-2 and Lyova Bi-2.
This release features tracks from Chiron’s debue album, ‘Eve’, their second epic album, ‘Slipping Away’ and a host of rarities and remixes that have been made available for this release for the very first time.
